Many a deer hunter has traveled miles only to end up finding out that what they were seeking was much closer than they thought possible.  They discovered that they didn't have to travel as far as they had originally believed.

In a similar fashion it may seem as though you are far away from God.  However, according to the Bible, HE (the Lord), is close by.  In fact, it is God's will that we "...seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us" (Acts 17:27).  Have you found Jesus Christ?  Don't rest until you do.  After all, you might never find that trophy buck you are searching for - but if you seek the Lord you will find.  Jesus Himself promised, "seek and you will find" (Matthew 7:7).
